Indian Handicrafts and Gift Fair of EPCH- Sanjay Agarwal Development Commissioner (Handicrafts)

The Handicrafts Sector is not only important for exports but also for providing employment to more than 6 million artisans and crafts persons mainly belonging to a large segment of economically weaker and backward section of the society, said the Minister while inaugurating the 29th edition of the Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair (IHGF) Spring 2010, organized by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) at India Expo Centre and Mart at Expressway Greater Noida. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Raj Kumar Malhotra, Chairman, EPCH, said that the product range on display is highly diversified and covers nearly everything conceivable for lifestyles ranging from gifts, decoratives, utility items, furniture, furnishings, accessories, fittings and fixtures, antiques etc.
