The Rochdale 9 is well known as a notoriously difficult set of inner city locks. Leaking gates, bridges covered in pigeon shit and crack heads hanging out on the locks. I took my narrowboat up from Castlefield basin, lock 92 to lock 84 and then two more; 83 and 82 to reach the BWML visitor moorings at New Islington.

Filmed November 2019 on iPhone 11 Pro and July 2019 on iPhone 8 Plus, edited on Lumafusion. All music by me and most is available on itunes etc.
