Thresh Top has been my main for so long it's literally not funny anymore; I TRYHARD with this now.
Sometimes, a loss streak can hit hard and make me question its validity, or viability, but a recent upturn in performance has has me realise that really doesn't matter, and what matters is I enjoy playing it.
Top Lane, nor Thresh, nor Top Lane Thresh may be the best ways to "gain elo", but if that's not my main goal above all else, it doesn't really matter anymore. If it's fun, that's reason enough.

But, after a long time spent playing Arena, I may have lost any and all Top Lane skill, and it's time for some rehabilitation. My first opponent proves fairly tough, and I may suck in many areas, but the main thing is that my mindset and will to improve has returned for Summoner's Rift; I'm ready to be THE Thresh Top guy again.

Thresh Top Runes (Recommended for aggression, experienced play. Fleet Footwork can be used when newer or want a safer lane)

Presence of Mind
Legend: Bloodline (AD, take Alacrity if you take BOTRK early, or if you play AP)
Coup De Grace or Last Stand

Second Wind vs poke / Bone Plating against early game burst and fighters
Overgrowth if need a huge tank / Revitalize against poke / Unyielding tenacity for overwhelming CC or you need Plated Steelcaps instead of Mercs (though merc treads is usually enough)
