Fullerton man and pets rescued

FULLERTON: On 11-29-22 at approximately 11:45pm, Fullerton FD and PD responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1100 block of Glenhaven Avenue. PD arrived to find smoke and fire from the home with a reported victim trapped inside and numerous dogs. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to perform a rescue of the trapped victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in serious but stable condition. Two dogs were rescued from inside the home with burn and smoke inhalation injuries. A Fullerton police officer began giving the dogs water and oxygen. They were both transported to a local veterinarian. Numerous other dogs were found on the property alive. The fire went through the roof and engulfed the home. Firefighters were faced with pack rat conditions. No other injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. Full video on YouTube.
