I’m trying out the #MT3DPrintedDesigns hub mod. It’s like the Z ring and designed to remove the play in the quick release. I thought I’d do a video in case anyone planning on doing this mod wants to see someone else do it first.
It works really well so far. The fit and finish is pretty good. I left off the extra nut because the threads weren’t cut right but it’s fine with just the gold nut on there.
This isn’t me telling anyone to take apart their DD1, I’m just showing myself doing it.
