It is perfect for the one who chases faint FM signals, loves to experiment with external antennas, and enjoys the AM/Shortwave Broadcast Bands. It makes a perfect first time radio for those entering the hobby. It has competition with other lightweight portables, but it offers enough to justify its current price.
