This is the story of WWII veteran Paul Wohjan who served in the 1t Marine Division.This is an episode in a World War Two Documentary Series called Remember WWII. This episode covers the role of the 1st Marine Division fighting against the Japanese fanatical resistance on islands like NEW BRITAIN, PELELIU, and OKINAWA . This episode feature WWII veteran Paul Wojhan who was in the 1st Pioneer Battalion and had many close encounters with the enemy. In this episode he describes the frontline combat he endured as a young man. We thank him for his service.
