This month we're featuring a classic and simple two-ingredient cocktail, The Godfather. The origins of this one are a little unknown, but its' popularity rose in the 1970s about the same time the famous movie of the same name hit the big screen.

Amaretto is an Italian liquor, and Marlon Brando's character drank Scotch throughout the film...maybe not at all a coincidence. You can easily change up the cocktail by swapping blended scotch for single malts or simply topping it off with a wee bit of the expensive scotch you've been hoarding.
