Compiled a handful of clips I took during our ascent of the Crestone Needle and Peak. Long thought to be the unclimbable 14er, the needle wasn't summited until 1916 by Albert Ellingwood when he discovered the east and west gully routes. We began our ascent from the 2wd parking lot and camped just below the treeline. The rest was unforgettable.
