Nickel Plate Road

Starting in 2022, the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society would begin operating a series of excursions on the Indiana Northeastern Railroad, dubbed the Indiana Rail Experience. Finally given the engine a place to stretch it's wheels that wasn't the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. The 765 would operate a series of excursions in 2022 & 2023 from Ohio, Indiana & Michigan. In 2023, I would chase the #765 on four of these excursions. First one in June, Donuts & Dads Train, Summer BBQ Train, Tri State Steam Scenic, & Indiana Fall Colors Train. Compiled here, is my third directors cut of the 2023 season. Now that the #2816 schedule is out, I have a tentative plan. But I await the rest of the schedule. Currently this year awaiting schedules of #1225 #765 and #4014 I await to see what I can/can't make work this year!
