CSX Heritage: Locomotive 1871 Honoring the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad

Описание к видео CSX Heritage: Locomotive 1871 Honoring the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad

The CSX fleet of heritage locomotives is continuing to grow with the introduction of CSX 1871 painted in a custom design honoring the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad (ACL). First appearing in 1871, the ACL was officially incorporated in 1900 and extended from Georgia to Richmond, Virginia, and later into Florida. The ACL merged with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad in 1967 to form the Seaboard Coast Line, which later became part of CSX. CSX 1871 will carry the ACL colors across our 20,000-mile network, reinforcing employee pride in the nearly 200 year history of our railroad.
