Airbrush on wood - Freehand Owl Painting!

My name is Melina, I am a full-time artist and specialized in realistic colored pencil, airbrush and graphite work. I feel so honored to be able to combine my great passion for animals with my creative abilities. From an early age, I spent many hours observing animals closely and trying to show my perception with all types of pencils.

I really love drawing on natural wooden slices, as I just love their unique appearance and texture. This owl study was done freehand and took me about 6 hours to complete all the tiny details with my Takumi Airbrush. I hope you like the end result.
