Disused Stations of the Chicago Aurora and Elgin - BATAVIA SPUR

A virtual tour of the disused stations, stops, and facilities along the Batavia Spur of the Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin railway, by cycling the still accessible route of the Batavia Spur along the Fox River Trail and Illinois Prairie Path, through the communities of Batavia and Aurora, Illinois. In this journey, we stop at the sites of 8 former stations/stops, including the site of the railway's PowerHouse at the former Glendwood Park station.

Note that station to station travel times roughly correspond to the actual travel times of CA&E trains along this branch.
