Namvar Singh was an Indian literary critic, linguist, academician and theoretician. He was the legends of the contemporary Hindi literature.

In the series of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Memorial Lectures Shri Namvar Singh gave speech on Cultural Pluralsm. which talks about a society where multiple smaller cultures assimilate in mainstream society but also maintain their cultural uniqueness without being homogenised by the dominant culture.
