Helldivers 2 Nerfs Don't Work

The latest Helldivers 2 update has made the community angry and even though the most recent round of Helldivers 2 nerfs and buffs have been explained and acknowledged by the CEO, I argue that they don't work and never will. Helldivers 2 gameplay is all about explosions and fun, not buffing, nerfing, and fine tuning every weapon.

The Helldivers 2 nerfs backlash is just another round of a game developer aiming at the wrong target. Even a brand new Helldivers 2 dev stream wouldn't help because the steam charts are already falling as well as negative reviews rising.

Helldivers 2 is a 2024 cooperative third-person shooter game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the direct sequel to Helldivers, a 2015 top-down shooter. It was released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8 February 2024.
