David Turner has converted his Dingle Leigh Railway to 7/8ths and although it is still work-in-progress, he had finished the ballasting in time for my visit and we rapidly placed some of his superb, foam board based buildings.
The loco is, of course, Roundhouse based, though on a Katie rather than a Billy chassis. It has the superb SSP Slkomo fitted which allows the degree of control that you see here. The Summerlands FX Control adds a nice plume and the local bird population add some nice sound effects. As usual with garden railway filming, it did not go completely smoothly - so there are some out-takes at the end!
