How to clean & maintain iRobot Roomba S9 / S9 plus and self emptying tower - avoid /minimize errors!

Описание к видео How to clean & maintain iRobot Roomba S9 / S9 plus and self emptying tower - avoid /minimize errors!

The iRobot Roomba S9 plus or S9 roombas are one of the strongest cleaning vacuums out there and many people have these to clean their floors, especially with owning pets to keep down the fur in the home.

However regular maintenance is needed to keep the roomba happy so that it continues to vacuum with minimal errors. An accumulation of dirt and hair over time can cause problems with the performance of the roomba and can actually cause physical damage to its components. Common errors are charging errors, brush errors (roomba detects additional resistance of the brushes), docking errors, self emptying errors and much more.

By cleaning your roomba like we do every 2-4 weeks will result in minimal problems of your roomba. We should add that the roomba in this video was not our personal roomba, but one that we are servicing and preparing to be sold. The laundry scented beads are used to help reduce odors of the hepa bag especially if you own pets. We got this tip from roomba refuge.

In this video we didn’t change the hepa filter as it was not necessary. Vacuuming out the hepa filter extends the use of the filter. You can also watch our other video on cleaning and washing hepa filters to reuse them which means less filters going to the landfill and less cost of replacements. Just make sure those filters are thoroughly dried before using them.

We repair, service and sell roombas and braavas as a hobby and hope you find this video helpful.

We are also registered for buy us a coffee if you are so inclined (we really like coffee)!
