The Trans Cambrian Way - Day 3

Описание к видео The Trans Cambrian Way - Day 3

The Trans Cambrian Way (TCW) is a 106 mile, 14,000ft route across the oldest mountain range in Europe. The ride across Wales is mostly off road with the odd quiet lane to give your rear a bit of respite. Although people do complete the TCW on gravel bikes a mountain bike is arguably more appropriate due to some quite rough technical sections and prolonged loose descents. Day 3 starts at LLangurig and finishes at Dovey Junction. The third day is milder than day two but does contain a lovely loose and steep descent that will get the brakes smoking (as you'll hear in the video), enjoy the incredible view from the top before taking it steady on the descent. I believe it's possible to get a taxi back from Dovey to Knighton, we were lucky enough to have a lift arranged and enjoyed fish and chips in Borth before heading back.
