We are so proud to welcome our Fall '24 class of new drummers to Mad Beatz Philly's all-star after school program at Norris Square! In addition to many new students learning bass drum and chest tenor, we have bass drummers who joined in 2023 trying to make the snare and quad sections.
Every drummer shows up determined to make the most of their time to build collegiate-level musicianship, discipline, and performance skills.

Every monday night practice at Norris Square follows a strict schedule:

CARDIO workout to build strength, endurance, and team spirit
"Step Block" - learning steps, movement fundamentals, and choreography
Snack break
SECTIONALS - Snare, Bass, and Quad drummers learning music in sections
....finishing with an ENSEMBLE rehearsal at the end of each practice where all sections come together to celebrate what we learned in sectionals.

Do you know a drummer age 12 and older who would like to join our all-star after school program at Norris Square? We are accepting applicants until mid-September! Participation is free and opens doors to many amazing opportunities.
