The Bossard Arena is an ice rink in the Swiss city of Zug in the canton of the same name. The ice hockey club EV Zug from the National League plays its home games here. The arena has 7,200 seats, of which 4,512 are seated and 2,735 are standing. The arena, together with the attached 63-meter-high Uptown high-rise, is part of the Zug West development program.
The Bossard Arena was inaugurated in August 2010. There is also a 3,000 square meter photovoltaic system on the roof, which produces around 200,000 kWh of electricity annually.
Eissportverein Zug i (EVZ) is a Swiss ice hockey club based in Zug. In the 1997/98 season, EVZ won its first Swiss championship title. In the 2020/21 season, EVZ celebrated its second title in the club's history.
