Nature Connection workshop

Описание к видео Nature Connection workshop

In this virtual workshop, Wild Wellbeing Lead Alexis covers what nature connection is, our need of a strong connection to nature, and the benefits from having one.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn more about nature connection and use that knowledge to help others when they're feeling unwell, or simply to help learn how they can themselves.

Throughout the workshop Alexis provides a mix of theory and gentle practical activities, so you can gain a greater understanding of the benefits.

Finally, she suggests possible ways that you might empower your community to take action for nature themselves, helping themselves as well as others.

If you enjoyed this workshop, feel free to make a donation to the Trust. As a charity we rely on people's generosity to make much of our work possible:

This workshop was delivered through the Wilder Neighbourhoods project, which is funded by the Know Your Neighbourhood fund.

Alexis was our Wild Wellbeing Lead (she sadly left the Trust in 2024 after working with us for ten years!) She's a mum of two children, a guinea pig, and a cheeky dog. She is also a Mental Health First Aider and has a certificate in ecotherapy. Alexis is passionate about wildlife and is a champion for environmental issues - and loves talking about it with others.
