In this video I demonstrate how to play the one of the slap bass grooves from Stu Hamm's 'Call of the Wild'. You’ll find this track on his 1988 album Kings of Sleep.

This groove was one of my favourite lines when I was learning to play, and I loved the use of the tenth chord at the end of the second bar in particular. For that classic Stu Hamm tone, I used a Kubicki X-Factor bass for this lesson.
