Описание к видео Shift from SSI to SSA’s Disabled Adult Child (DAC) Program

Have you heard of the Social Security Administration’s (SSA’s) Disabled Adult Child (DAC) program, also called Childhood Disabled Beneficiary (CDB)? Do you know that DAC may provide a person with a disability from 50 to 75% of a parent’s SSA benefit?

Please join health care and benefits administration expert Daniel Fortuño as he explains DAC eligibility, requirements, and benefits, including:
-The parent of the person with the disability must be receiving Social Security retirement or disability benefits
-The adult child has an SSA approved disability from age 18 prior to age 22 and may become eligible for Medicare after receiving DAC for at least 2 years
-How to provide the SSA with the records it needs to best support the application for DAC
Daniel Fortuño, President CEO of the Benefits Education Center, has over 30 years' experience in training, counseling, and education in health care and benefits administration. He is highly skilled in interpreting public and private health, as well as public benefits programs, including Social Security, Medi-Cal, and Medicare.
