Jimmy Diresta Band Saw Restoration 6: Top Wheel Shaft Removal - That was EASY! This one went a lot better than the first shaft - some heat and pressure was all it took to remove this tapered shaft from the hub of the giant 48" band saw wheel. The pressure was applied using my home made portable hydraulic press.
