✅ Ingredients:
• chicken – 1,3 lb / 600 g
• rice – 1 cup / 250 g
• ginger – 3 tsp / 10 g
• garlic – 4 cloves
• classic soy sauce – ¼ cup / 50 ml
• cooking oil – 2 tbsp
• rice vinegar – 1 tbsp
• corn starch – 1 tbsp
• ground black pepper – ½ tsp
• red chili flakes – to taste
• ground cinnamon - ¼ tsp
• water – 2 cups / 500 ml
• salt – ½ tsp
• sugar – 2,5 tbsp

✅ You will need:
• stockpot
• pan
• bowl
• carving board

📙 Preparation:
1. Cut the chicken fillet into pieces of 1,1-1,6 inch (3-4 cm) size, mince the garlic and ginger.
2. Into a stockpot lay out 1 cup /250 g of thoroughly washed rice, add 2 cups /500 ml of water, stir, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid and boil for 15 minutes. Switch the heat off and leave the rice with the lid covered for 5 minutes. Then add the rice vinegar with ½ tsp of sugar and ½ tsp of salt melted in it, incorporate well with the rice. The side dish is ready.
3. Heat a pan over high heat with 2 tbsp of cooking oil, add the chicken pieces and fry stirring over high heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
4. Reduce the heat to medium, add ginger and garlic into the pan, stir well and fry for a minute more.
5. Add then ground black pepper, chili flakes, ground cinnamon, 2 tbsp of sugar and soy sauce. Melt the corn starch in 3 fl oz /100 ml of water and pour into the pan, bring to a boil stirring, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes more.
6. For serving sprinkle chicken teriyaki with sesame seeds, green onion and fresh chili pepper. Serve it hot with the prepared rice side dish.

❗️Advices:
1. You can use chicken thing or breast.
2. You can use favourite noodles instead rice.
3. The vegetables and greens can be add based on availability and the season. For example zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms or green beans.
