Parkinson's Disease is something that plagues the lives of many people and makes it difficult on a daily basis. This is especially true when you live hours away from your doctor. To combat this and to make the lives of patients easier, Jui Keskar has invented a device called JTremor 3D, for the tremor profiling of the patients. Join her as she describes her journey and the workings of the device. Jui Keskar is a 15-year-old student currently studying in 10th grade. She invented a device called JTremor3D for tremor profiling of patients of Parkinson’s Disease. The invention received many national and international accolades including Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignited mind award, Grand award - 3rd place in Biomedical engineering, at ISEF, conducted by Society of Science, US; Science Seed award from Shanghai Youth Science Education Society, etc. Earlier she also co-authored a research paper about impact of Covid-19 lockdown. It got published in a journal.
Jui also runs ‘Beat-the-tremor’ initiative to bridge the information gap among patients in India by spreading awareness about the recent happenings in the Parkinson’s world through monthly newsletters in a few local Indian languages.
