Pre-Sprouting Cucumbers for Better Germination

Presprouting is a very easy way to quickly get your cucumber seeds off to a great start. By providing the ideal sprouting environment, presprouting can often result in seedlings emerging 1-2 weeks before they would in cool soils.

I go over the very basics of pre-sprouting (germinating) seed in more ideal conditions prior to planting seed in the soil or other media. Though this is a completely amateur first cut of what I wanted to convey (such as the the three bowls of porridge being too hot, too cold and just right), hopefully you get the point from what I am saying. Though I have been focused intensively on growing cucumbers and cucumber-melons for years, I hope to convey that I still have much to learn as I share what works best for me.
