Blitzkrieg BH-RT Custom mission - USSR-Japan - Khalkin-Gol, 1939

---- Destroy Kurogane -----
Mongolian Desert. Khalkhin-Gol River, July 1939. You have command over a border patrol unit on the river bordering on Manchuria, which is occupied by Japan. Japanese provocations have been accumulating for weeks. You have to report to your Staff if Japanese troops do cross the border.
The three units belonging to this patrol are being guided by commanders familiar with the area. These three units must survive. If the Japanese cross the river, you have to destroy the Japanese command vehicle Kurogane. Then you can retreat.

---- Reach telegraph station -----
The Japanese obviously mean business. You have to take the message concerning the Japanese attack to the telegraph station in order to get reinforcements. In Siberia there are two Soviet tank brigades, which have to be deployed to Khalkhin-Gol as quickly as possible. You have to drive for your life!

---- The artillery must survive -----
Well done. The message of the Japanese attack has reached the Division Staff in Novosibirsk. You now have immediate airborne support. We have been able to equip a few Poljarkov I-16 planes with automatic guns. Use these planes to combat the Japanese tank supremacy! At the border base is an almost unguarded artillery regiment. We are expecting an attack. Evacuate the artillery OR stop the Japanese attack by using curtain and perimeter fire. At least 8 guns have to survive the battle, because you cannot start a counterattack without artillery support.

---- Break through defense ring -----
The Red Army has sent its best general. General Shukov has arrived and taken over command. The Japanese are holed up in the mountain Bain Cagaan. Break through the Japanese defenses. The Soviet tanks have stronger armor than the Japanese, but don’t underestimate the fire power of the Japanese tanks.
The opponent is superior in numbers. Rely on the mobility of your modern panzers.
Heavy bombers have arrived. You don’t know the exact strength of the Japanese Air Force – test out your opponent!

The enemy has set up a base near the bridge. Destroy the enemy base.
