In East London 1889 The Woolwich Ferry began operation for the transportation of pedestrians and vehicles connecting Woolwich South Bank with North Woolwich
Join me as I take my motorbike for a trip across the Thames with the back drop of Canary Wharf
With The Thames Barrier in view I also take a look around this magnificent piece of engineering - constructed in 1974 and opening in the early 1980's
