Basque Burnt Cheesecake! easy cake recipe

Ingredients:
• 800g of cream cheese
• 400g of heavy cream
• 180g of powdered sugar
• 225g of eggs
• 45g of cornstarch
• 5g of salt
• 1 vanilla pod

Instructions:
I’m using a 18cm (7in) and 8cm height cake pan. You can either use a blender or stand mixer to mix all the ingredients together. Then strain to remove any lumps. Fill in the cake pan which is lined with two parchment paper then cut excess paper so it doesn’t burn.
Preheat oven to 490F and cook for around 20-25mins. You need to check for color (dark brown for the bitter taste) and for interior temperature which should be around 155F (use a thermometer). After you take it out, leave it to cool down outside for around 2 hours and then place it in the fridge overnight to set. The cheesecake should be creamy in the center, this way you have different textures.
