Shop Vac Sound Box Silent Report

Next day in use shop vac testing for hot air and noise. Quick review of the box and how it works. Makes a huge difference in noise. Best 30.00 I ever spent. Made of 1/4" plywood and 1" Blue Foam. This has been one of the best additions. I have been testing it for many days now. It never gets hot and it is so quiet my son was wondering if it was on. My wife is also pleased with the noise level drop. I forget it's on now.

It's been a year since I made this video. I opened this box today to check it. It was still empty after a year but there was a very very very fine covering of dust that I blew off with a air hose. The vac was still preforming but I figured a year with out emptying or checking the filter it was time to give it a cleaning. I was impressed that the dust deputy had kept it that clean after 40 5 gallon buckets of fine dust emptied from it this past year.
