After the last Dusy trip I decided it was finally time to redo my roll cage and get a windshield back in my rig. I pushed to have my truck ready for this year's Thanksgiving Backdoor Bash, but I ended up getting Covid19 right before the trip and was forced to stay home sick (the rona sucks, don't get it). Super bummed about missing that event and itching to explore the desert, we got a small crew together for a quick weekend getaway to Cougar Buttes.

Leaving after work, we arrived late only to be greeted by an unusually strong wind storm. I was fine sleeping in the back of my truck, but those with tents had their shelters destroyed overnight. After some delicious breakfast tacos (thanks Sara) we drove through the sandstorm to find some rocks..
