058 Sailing to Norway!! (Part 2)

That moment I have been working towards for all that time. Yes, it is not the stars but in my world still the moon. And “over the moon” I was with the fact we departed. No more thinking, I would almost call it “Jacco mode”. The start of an extended period of sailing, let’s go with part 1!

For those who don't know me, I am Jan and I’d going to set sail for a longer period of time during this summer! Unfortunately my wife does not like sailing as much as I think I do so we can't do it all together but we found a middle ground!

On a boat? Yes, an aluminum Koopmans 36 foot Sailboat called Wind Rose.The plan was conceived in 2006 and I've have been working towards it ever since. With the purchase of Wind Rose, our go anywhere aluminium sailboat, I committed to departure.

Knowing the destination(s), the duration and a rough route I'm doing the final preparations of Wind Rose and make sure we can focus on the sailing and not worry (too much) about the ship. Who knows what happens during the trip but follow along and I'll show you!
