Government says the obsolete machinery at the Mulungushi Textile Company will be auctioned to the general public.

Central Province Permanent Secretary, MILNER MWANAKAMPWE says government will NOT allow the obsolete machinery to benefit few individuals.

Dr. MWANAKAMPWE says the machinery will be auctioned to cooperatives and ordinary people.

He has told ZNBC News that the Zambia China Mulungushi Textile will boost the economy of central province once operational.

Dr. MWANAKAMPWE says previously the textile company was being used as a campaign strategy during elections.
