1967 Rols Dictation Machine - Stepper Motor Strip Down & Repair - Retrotech - Fixit

Having posted a previous video demonstrating the Rols Dictation Machine (also known as the GAF Rols in parts of the USA), I was contacted by a viewer who has a Rols machine that isn't working correctly. They asked if I could help:

This video is the second of two videos - in part one we have a quick look round the machine and diagnose possible faults that could cause the issue they are having with the magnetic recording film advancing stepper motor on their machine. You can see part one here:

In this episode we go a little further and strip down the stepper motor to look at the repairs I had to do on my own machine to get it working. There'll also be a short demo of the machine working at the end.
