Chopin Nocturne 13: Melancholic and Poignant

Описание к видео Chopin Nocturne 13: Melancholic and Poignant

Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1 in C minor (13/21). One of Chopin's greatest Nocturne, and one of my favourites. This piece is full of grief, with a brief interlude of hope in the middle section before being swiftly replaced with the original theme redone in triplets. The left hand features choral blocks instead of arpeggio more commonly found in his earlier nocturne. Chopin extended the climax at the end with some of the sweetest chords I have ever heard, before crashing down all in a wave of fury. As my friend asked, why does it die down at the end instead of ending with a bang? I guess, it's Chopin's way of saying all good things come to an end. But hopefully not this time.
