Exclusive Home Tour: Incredible Fully Renovated Home in Sea Island, GA

After spending another week at Sea Island, I was insured to refresh the home tour from last year and bring you never before seen footage of the home. Hope you can sit back and enjoy the views and feel the beauty this home offers.

Tucked away along the Golden Isle marsh in exclusive Sea Island, GA is a home originally built by Frank McCall and recently updated by Atlanta-based C. Brandon Ingram. The renovation include a new cedar roof, new railings with a custom design carried throughout the interior and exterior of the home, new windows and a refresh to the tabby exterior.

The incredible design details were completed by Mary Mac Interiors, including the pool side furnishing and all of the interiors. The home was taken down to the studs inside and rebuilt to gracefully accommodate a large family.

The details in the kitchen and scullery included paneled appliances and drawers for a warmer, freezer and drinks. The scullery provided an additional oven and dishwasher as well as a coffee and cocktail bar. The coffee makers in the scullery and in the wet bar in the guest wing were built into the cabinetry which allowed the countertops to stay clutter free.

The master bathroom was filled with natural light and privacy despite being on the main level. The sleek tub included discrete, flush jets incorporated into the bottom and sides of the tub. The right wing of the home included a large laundry room, accessible directly from the master suite, a drop zone, a half bath and a separate shower area to clean off after a day at the beach or pool.

The home sits on a piece of property with expansive views of the marsh. When you turn to look back at the home from the newly built dock, you’re greeted with a two story porch with custom designed, stunning railings and a classic, luxurious pool area with room for outdoor seating, lounging and of course, jumping into the pool.

Just beyond the pool, on the edge of the marsh, is a canopy moss tree with a darling swing that overlooks the marsh. It was a gift from the contractor and a favorite of the son of the homeowner. The interior designer had a painting done of the son swinging on it and gave it to the client as a house warming gift.
