London walk in Kennington: beautiful Kennington Park, hidden squares, historic protests and cricket

Описание к видео London walk in Kennington: beautiful Kennington Park, hidden squares, historic protests and cricket

Kennington has a fascinating history, from market gardens and gallows, to the first residential square south of the Thames, the Prince of Wales, a major Chartist protest and Batman in a road safety advert, plus of course, cricket. This walk from Kennington Road takes us across Kennington Lane towards Cleaver Square - a hidden gem in London - and then onto beautiful Kennington Park with its lovely Old English Garden, before we find ourselves at the Oval cricket ground. So much to enjoy... including a cinnamon bun!
