Hi everyone! It’s almost this time of the year; Christmas!!🎄🎅🏻 To get into the mood I’m making Christmas ornaments. Only this time a little bit different than before. This time I’m using pouring paint instead of alcohol ink.

In this video I’m gonna show you how to make a set of four ornaments with one batch of pouring paint. I chose for a dirty pour, in the hope this would create the most transitions on the ornaments.
This was my first time trying this out, unfortunately I used a little bit too much paint. But that’s a great learning process for next time.

To hold the Christmas ornaments steady on the skewer I’ve made something myself. It’s possible to buy wine stoppers of rubber (have no experience with this yet) but you can also be a bit inventive yourself. I used some foam wrapped up in transparent house foil (which you also probably use in the kitchen) and placed a skewer in it. This way the ornaments were steady on the skewer.

To place the skewers on an underground I use a large piece of foam wrapped up in tin foil. This way I can reuse the foam.

Colours acrylic paint:
Brand; Amsterdam Standard Series
- Prussian blue
- Permanent red violet
- Permanent violet blue
- Pearl white
I really love this colour palette, one of my favorites!

When the ornaments have dried I’ll share them on my Facebook page:   / kristelscreations
Hopefully I’ll see you there soon too.

I hope you will enjoy or have enjoyed the video and hopefully till next time.
