From my experience in use ***
The MF Canon FD 600mm f4.5 lens for the birds beginner shooters or the serious hobbyist are highly recommended
The lens is high quality optics from the Canon’s pro lenses grade that in budget price, the sharpness and quality can be expected from the 30 years old lens
The color aberration or chromatic aberration [purple edge] can be found, anyway it’s easy to manage by the image touching software
Yes, the lens itself quite heavy when you have to move around so the carbon fiber tripod is recommended to get one
However, when mounted the lens with the gimbal head it’s weightless
The Hasselblad X1D is still brilliant and useable with high raw files quality in very low budget camera
110MB/file and 50mpx resolution is better enough beside the convenience to operation with smart menu and functions
Of course, it’s not for professional birds shooters, be cause of the slow shutter lag time, so don’t think about to shoot bird in flight
Beside these, the FD and the X1D are recommended to use them to enjoy having fun, but still getting great happiness and great pictures
even by yourself or family.
