Summary:
There were about 14 other kayakers out this day, it was packed! I feel bad for the boats, it must’ve been hard to avoid us all. Despite a really late start, bait wasn’t too much of an issue. It wasn’t the most successful of days, but we turned it into a kawakawa, an uku, and an omilu. Happy to make some jerky and feed some other families! Damashi: Homemade using line between 12-16lb, typically J-Flouro Samurai. I typically tie my own flies. When using lures, I like Tylah lures or CHL Nox Minnows, both I set up with gold hooks and a red bead which I find to be very effective and highly recommend them.
