We were supposed to mash up or medley songs from different series this month, and it probably would have been easier to just find two songs with a similar feel. But I wanted to find something that had a reason to be jammed together.
I've wanted to cover some Battletoads music for quite awhile and when I remembered there was that crossover game with Double Dragon, I knew it was what I wanted to do. It was tough arranging this and (hopefully) getting it all to flow well. I thought it was pretty funny to start with the Intro of Battletoads(iconic), and then go into the first level of the crossover game but I was stuck there for awhile.
I soon realised that there was a BTDD song that seemed to reference the Mission 2 theme from Double Dragon, and that's when it all came together. Kind of funny how it goes Intro, level 1, 2, and 3, but the game switches each time!
