TCRC - Trundley Close O Gauge Test Trains June 2024

Various O Gauge test trains could be seen operating on the Trundley Close Garden Railway on the 5th and 7th June 2024 ahead of the upcoming diesel gala event which is due to occur later in the month. The main sources of motive power used on these test trains were resident Class 27 D5389 and Class 53 "Falcon" 1200, Also seen in operation on the 7th June was Class 05 Shunter D2555. All 3 locos were seen being tested with passenger and freight stock after the recent train maintenance and reconstruction of concrete has taken place, Apart from a few teething troubles that still need rectifying the layout has proven to be more stable then it was with less derailments.

Come the Early Summer Diesel Gala on the 22nd - 23rd June 2024 we are hoping to have trains operating on the layout to ensure safe running for the Late Summer Diesel Gala in August where we are expected to see a variety of O Gauge visitors.
