Watchmaking Vlog Episode 45 - In this watchmaking episode I start to make the fixture that the watch mainplate and pieces of brass that I will use to make my watch on. This will enable me to make parts in more of a production fashion.

I saw this brass fixture when I had visited Vianney Halter's watchmaking workshop and decided that this is a great fixture and thought of another way I can use it.

I made the fixture on my optimum optiturn 3008g lathe. It's such a pleasure to work with, taking huge cuts off material compared to my watchmakers lathe.

Its only a short video, look forward to seeing you on the next one.

I am so excited for the future, I feel like I am one step closer to realising my dreams of making watches.
