Описание к видео Street Fighter Alpha 1 [Arcade] - play as Dan

Dan is a hidden character in the game. He is a hidden playable character.

===== HOW TO SELECT DAN =====

1) After inserting your credits, press and HOLD Start to go into the character select screen.

2) With Start still held down, highlight the Random [?] box and press the following in a fast and continuous manner to get Dan:

For default colour : LP, LK, MK, HK, HP, MP
For second colour: HP, HK, MK, LK, LP, MP

===== ABOUT DAN =====

Dan is of course, a play on SNK's Ryo and Robert from Art Of Fighting... this is due to Capcom seeing the two SNK characters as rip-offs of their own characters, Ryu and Ken. Therefore Dan is designed to be somewhat of a joke character who is notably weak.

He is yet another head-swap of Ryu/Ken... but due to him being an exaggerated joke character with an arrogant and over-confident personality, he quickly developed his own persona which made him unique enough.

===== GAMEPLAY =====

As a shoto-clone, his basic gameplay is of course very similar to Ryu... he has the Dragon Punch and the gliding kick move, but his biggest weakness is the fireball, which goes virtually nowhere. You can play him like Ryu but you'll find out he does what Ryu does quite badly. On the plus side, his crouching HP into the Roundhouse Gale Kick special move is a nice and easy cancel.

===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====

---- Obviously, he can only be fought against as a hidden character in the game.

---- His personal boss in the game is Sagat.

---- His background stage is an evening version of Sagat's stage.

---- He has a unique voice produced for the PS1 and Saturn versions of SFA1. His arcade version voices are different and are instead ripped off from Ryu's voices.

---- The game is known as Street Fighter Zero in Japan.

---- In the Saturn version of the game, when you win a round with a throw, the win icon shows a baseball. This is different to the PS1 and Arcade versions where it showed a rope instead.

===== ABOUT SFA1 =====

This is the game that kicked off the brilliant Alpha series of Street Fighter. Despite Alpha 1 being a bit "broken" competitively-wise, it is still a fun game to go back to every now and then. It is also the only Alpha game with chain combos as one of it's core mechanics.
