Today, marks the 38th Anniversary of The Temptations classic 80's hit song, "Treat Her Like A Lady." This classic was written by 2 members of the group, Otis Williams and at the time their newest addition to the group, Ali-Ollie Woodson. Otis said that he heard people saying men weren't treating women with respect and don't treat them like women anymore, so one day, Otis and Ali was sitting at the piano and they were making up the song as they were singing it while Ali was playing the piano. Then, they ended up writing a song that would end up being a big hit for them. It was the first single to feature the late great Ali-Ollie Woodson as a Temptation and the song became their biggest hit since 1975. It reached to #2 on the R&B Charts, #2 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles Chart, and #48 on the Billboard Hot 100. This song would put the Tempts back on top again.
