WHY IS MY CYPRESS HEDGE TURNING BROWN

Why is my cypress hedge turning brown? When brown patches appear on your cypress hedge it requires urgent treatment because if you nip any "browning" problem in the bud then the recovery of your hedge should be straight forward. As these brown patches extend, recovery becomes more and more difficult particularly due to the nature of the cypress hedge itself where new growth from brown branches is not possible, even after treatment, therefore your option may be to stimulate new growth from the trunk of the tree itself to replace these brown branches that you are going to remove.
