I decided to try an experiment. I would record three inputs simultaneously from my LR Baggs Anthem equipped McPherson Sable into my Allen and Heath CQ12T. And just hear the differences with no processing in the DAW.

1) A Miktek PM5 condenser mic about 14" out from the neck-body connection
2) A Radial PZ Pre DI with some lows and highs rolled off
3) A Grace Felix Preamp with some lows and highs rolled off and small cut around 700hz
