River Crouch - Ride from Hullbridge to Wallasea Island

This is a little project that I have had in mind for a while, a mountain bike ride along the sea wall of the tidal river Crouch from Hulbridge to Wallasea Island in Essex.

The route is approximately 32km, though ends up being a 72km ride once the journey to and from the start and end points is taken into account. There is a small section just outside of Hullbridge that is unpassable, so had to take a detour onto the roads with the nearest point of being able to re-join the path being at South Fambridge.

The route is very varied with beaches, mud flats and creeks. Completely natural areas, farm land and industrial areas, I hope to have captured the variety in this video,
