1st Enduro Race of the Year! Post Canyon - Hood River, Oregon // Cascadia Dirt Cup

First enduro race of the year was nothing but a good time! This was my first time in Hood River, Oregon riding at Post Canyon. This year I'll be doing 6 races with Cascadia Dirt Cup - the Northwest's premier enduro race series! I'll be riding in the Expert Men 30-39 category.

For those unfamiliar with enduro racing - Enduro races involve anywhere from 3-7 timed stages. The timed sections are mostly downhill, but can vary in steepness, length, and difficulty. Between each stage there are untimed "transfer stages" that are mostly uphill climbs to reach the next stage. Enduro racing requires a unique combination of physical fitness, stamina, and bike-handling skills.
